why is this important?

Inmates at the Oklahoma County Detention Center are only provided one menstrual hygiene product a day. 

Using the same pad for eight hours can lead to infections and various other health issues. Using a tampon for more then eight hours can lead to toxic shock which can be fatal.

Using a product for that long is not only unsanitary and unsafe, but inhumane as well.

Lee created this organization after learning about this issue in our community. This organization brings together all sorts of community groups, that is the magic of this organization, all of us coming together for a larger cause, to help our neighbors.
