Giving Calendar

After thinking about our neighbors in need in the Oklahoma County Detention Center for a while, and talking about this with my parents at family dinners, and brainstorming with many leaders in my community like my Girl Scout leaders, Lee reached out to Mac Mullings, the County Jail programs coordinator. I created this Calendar in my junior year of high school, earning my Girl Scout Gold Award in senior year.

So what is this Calendar?

This calendar is a system where a group can sign up for a month or few out of the year to collect or buy period products that to be donated to the inmates at the county detention center.

The purpose of this organization is to have a sustainable flow of donations of menstrual hygiene products, also know as pads, sanitary napkins, and liners, (NO TAMPONS) to be given to the inmates at the Oklahoma County Detention Center, and for this organization to be as volunteer accessible as possible.
